Areas Of Focus

Welcome to a collaborative journey toward self-discovery and growth! Together, we’ll explore the depths of your values and the skills intricately woven into them, paving the way for you to tackle current challenges and embrace the future with confidence. Embracing diversity in all its forms, I provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for clients from varied backgrounds. Regardless of race/ethnicity, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation, or gender identity, every individual is valued and respected. Through empathy and understanding, we’ll navigate the complexities of your experiences, empowering you to initiate change.

At the heart of our therapeutic relationship lies collaboration. Your story is unique, and as your guide, I offer a safe, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space. Recognizing you as the expert of your own narrative, I draw from Narrative, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Multicultural, and Person-Centered perspectives to tailor our session to your needs.

Whether it’s exploring your past, addressing present challenges, or envisioning a brighter future, I employ techniques that resonate with you. Together, we’ll embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth. Reach out when you’re ready to take the first step towards a fulfilling and empowered life.

A little about me

Clients often describe me as personable, goofy, and easy to talk to, someone who’s easy to trust, both in conversation and in therapy. I value creating a relaxed, safe space where people feel seen and understood. My passion for therapy began during college, where I joined a research team and volunteered with marginalized communities. That experience deepened my belief in how powerful counseling can be.I’m drawn to stories, especially movies. I love getting lost in the themes, characters, and the way stories unfold over time. I bring that same curiosity into therapy. I see each person’s life as a story still in progress. The past matters, but so does what happens next. You are the main character, and I’m here to help you explore your narrative, make sense of what’s happened, and assist you in writing the next chapter with intention. Your story is unfinished—and together, we can work toward the version of you want to become.Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, visiting national parks, spending time with friends and family, reading, and playing video games. I bring a mix of empathy, humor, and curiosity to therapy and aim to make the process feel as natural and human as possible.

Quick Takes

  • The hill I’ll die on: One of my biggest pet peeves is people who talk loudly/excessively/disruptive at the movie theater.
  • My favorite way to decompress: Watching movies or playing games with my friends.
  • My therapy superpower: Seeing the patterns in my client’s behavior
  • Something I wish more people knew about therapy: Everyone can benefit from being in therapy.
