Areas Of Focus
Lexi is a Psychotherapist who received her Master’s degree in Social Work at Texas Tech
University. Lexi has worked at inpatient psych and day treatment centers, partnering
with teens and adults struggling with depression, suicidality, anxiety, addiction, eating
disorders, trauma experiences, and psychotic disorders.
Many people come to therapy unsure of how to voice what they truly want or need from the process, and Lexi understands that. She knows how overwhelming it can feel to search for a therapist who really “gets” you, especially when you’re used to putting others first. That’s why she takes a holistic, deeply individualized approach with every client she meets.
Lexi invites open, honest conversations about what’s working, what isn’t, and how things actually feel along the way. She encourages feedback not as a formality, but as a genuine part of the work you’re doing together. Her goal is to build a safe, welcoming space where clients feel comfortable showing up exactly as they are, sharing their preferences, their pace, and their truth. By valuing the therapeutic relationship above all else, she helps clients feel seen, cared for, and supported as they move through their healing journey.
A Little About Me
I tend to be a little silly — I like to sprinkle laughter into places that might not even be asking for it, both in my professional and personal life. (Don’t worry, I know when to be serious.) My ethics and empathy guide me, and I have a genuine desire to make a difference. I believe that foundation truly matters.
I’ve always thought a person’s favorite color says a lot about who they are, so I love to ask others about theirs — mine is yellow. I enjoy connecting with people and really getting to understand them. For me, a “successful” day is filled with small wins, understanding someone or something better, and opportunities to show up fully.
I like to think of myself as a blend of Type A and Type B — a mix of structure and spontaneity, all in good fun. You never quite know what you’ll get or where things will go, but it’s always somewhere within reason. That’s how I approach everything — from therapy to grocery shopping.
My roots are planted in good soil and nourished by people who pour into me with knowledge, love, and grace. That’s what keeps me grounded and growing.
Quick Takes:
- Coffee order: Hazelnut or Raspberry latte!!
- Favorite way to decompress after a long day: Prayer
- A quote or mantra I return to: “If you can’t feed a hundred people, feed just one” –
Mother Teresa. I love Mother Teresa and this quote. I can’t help everyone and fix
everything, but for one person, I can do something. - If I weren’t a therapist, I’d be: A wedding planner
- What I’d bring to a potluck: The most complex (but special and yummy) thing I can think of.
