Areas Of Focus

I have a deep passion for sitting with people in the places that feel heavy—whether that’s trauma, grief and loss, relationship wounds, or seasons when life feels overwhelming. I understand how vulnerable it can feel to open up, especially when pain has been carried quietly or trust has been broken. My goal is to create a counseling space marked by safety, compassion, and genuine presence, where clients feel supported and can move at their own pace.

I believe healing happens when people are given room to explore their stories with honesty, care, and curiosity. Rather than offering quick answers or rushing toward solutions, I value slowing down and helping clients reconnect with their own inner wisdom, self-understanding, and capacity for growth. I strive to bring a warm, steady, and authentic presence into the therapy room, always meeting clients exactly where they are. I am also attentive to how experiences live in the body and gently invite clients to notice sensations, emotions, and internal cues as part of the healing process.

My faith shapes the way I view people and healing. I believe every person carries God-given worth and resilience, and I consider it an honor to walk alongside clients as they rediscover hope, meaning, and strength. When clients desire, I welcome conversations about faith and spirituality in a gentle, client-led way that respects each individual’s beliefs and experiences.

I am especially interested in working with concerns related to grief and loss, betrayal trauma, complex trauma, and struggles with anxiety and depression. I am drawn to understanding how family history, attachment patterns, and relational experiences shape our present lives, and I enjoy helping clients notice patterns that foster clarity, self-compassion, and acceptance.

Outside of counseling, I love spending time with my daughters and family, writing, cooking, and planning our next Disney trip.

My Quick Takes

  • Coffee Order: A hot coffee or latte with oat milk to start the morning—and an iced shaken espresso with oat milk after lunch because balance.
  • A quote or mantra I return to: 2 Corinthians 4:8–9. I have it tattooed on my wrist as a reminder that no matter what we face, perseverance is always possible.
  • Something I’m learning to unlearn: Living in survival mode—choosing honesty, rest, and self-trust over always pushing through.
